George Heriot's School

We welcomed eight students and two teachers from the
George Heriot’s School in Edinburgh when they visited Jerusalem and stayed with us at St Andrew’s Scottish Guest House.

In Scotland they have been involved in various voluntary projects and their visit to Israel was a way of extending these projects to give them a global perspective.

St Andrew’s also benefited as they joined with our local gardener to develop the area at the front of the guesthouse overlooking the Old City. We wanted to create a garden that is sympathetic with the background, using stone that blends in with the Old City walls and plants that will evoke a Middle East feel. Vist us to see the outcome!
