St Andrew's Scottish Guest House is set in a prominent position overlooking the Hinnom Valley and the Old City.
The Scottish flag can be seen from the Church Tower.

From the airport

If you are visiting Israel from abroad, then on arriving at Ben Gurion Airport the easiest and most cost effective way to travel is to take  a ‘Sherut’ or ‘Nesher’ taxi (a small minibus) will take you to the entrance of the guesthouse.**

After collecting your luggage follow the exit signs through the main terminal. Just outside the main entrance, on your left you will see the minibuses, one of which will be travelling to Jerusalem. The cost is NIS50 or $11.

(**Ask for the Scottish Hospice or Scottish Church**)

To drive to the Guest House;

Using the map, follow the signs for the City Centre and on reaching King David follow the signs for Talpiot/Bethlehem (through the traffic lights) which will take you on to the Bethlehem Road. Go to the left hand lane. Passing the Liberty Bell Gardens you will reach another set of traffic lights. You will take the left fork(therefore stay in the left hand lane). As you travel through the traffic lights you will see immediately on your left the sign for the Menachem Begin Centre and the gates of the Guest House & Church. However, follow the road for approx 150 meters to the old

 railway station and do a u-turn around the traffic circle, travelling back the way you came. Passing the  Khan Theatre on your right take the next turning to the right (just before the traffic lights) and drive through  the gates, up the hill to the front of the Guest House where a warm welcome will be awaiting you.
